Job Description

Teaching responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, statistics, developmental math, liberal arts math, pre-calculus, and/or calculus. Anticipated start date August 2018.
In addition to teaching, responsibilities for all faculty include academic advising; service to students, the college, and/or community organizations; participation in scholarly and professional activities; mentoring adjunct faculty within the discipline; development and support of courses and programs; community service; and institutional service. Teaching assignments may include a combination of day and evening classes at one or more locations served by the College.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mathematics. A Master’s degree in Math Education will be considered; candidates must have earned at least 18 graduate semester hours specifically in Mathematics. Requires a demonstrated dedication to teaching, an understanding of the community college mission and environment, and a commitment to the use of instructional technology.

Preferred Qualifications

Community college or university teaching experience is strongly preferred.
