Job Description

Seeking adjunct faculty to teach daytime, evening and weekend EMS courses. The candidate will assist the lead instructor with practical applications and occasional lecture.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of five years work experience and/or equivalent training in EMS. Two years of previous teaching experience. Current National or State of Virginia Registry Certification or Commonwealth of Virginia Certification at EMT level.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in EMS or equivalent degree along with current National Registry Certification at EMT-level. Current certification as a Virginia EMS Education Coordinator. Recent teaching experience at a community college. Experience in the use of instructional technology.

Special Requirements

Must be able to work at all campus locations.
