Job Description

Seeking adjunct faulty to teach daytime, evening and weekend EMS courses at the Franklin campus. The Candidate would assist the lead instructor with practical applications and occasional lecture.

Minimum Qualifications

Current National Registry certification at EMT-Intermediate level. Minimum of five years’ full time work experience or equivalent in EMS. Two years of previous teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services or equivalent degree. Current national Registry Certification at EMT-paramedic level. Current certification as a Virginia EMS Education Coordinator. Recent teaching experience at a community college. Experience in the use of instructional technology.
