Job Description

Part-time adjunct teaching faculty-ranked appointment. Salary commensurate with the education and experience of the applicant. The positions are needed for the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s in Automotive Technology with demonstrated competency. Two (2) years related occupational experience. ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Master certification with G1 and L1. The selected candidate must be able to successfully pass the college’s pre-employment security screening.

Preferred Qualifications

General Motors technical certification. Considerable teaching experience in a community college setting. Considerable experience in a General Motors dealership setting. Demonstrated experience in curriculum development. Demonstrated experience with teaching distance education classes. Demonstrated ability to incorporate technology routinely into instructional and faculty responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to work with a widely diverse faculty, staff and student population. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
