Job Description

Rappahannock Community College invites applications for Tutor (Trainer Instructor I) #H0080, located at the Glenns & Warsaw Campus.

This position serves as content tutors on an hourly basis for students in degree and certificate programs. Tutoring responsibilities include one-on-one sessions or group sessions with students at the Glenns or Warsaw campus during day or evening hours. Subject expertise sought in Mathematics, English, Business and Accounting, ITE, Nursing, Biology, French, Spanish and Chemistry.

Minimum Qualifications

Must hold an Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree; or Master’s Degree in the subject area, or current teaching certification in the subject area.

Preferred Qualifications
Special Requirements

Pay rate is $8.50 with associate’s degree; $10 per hour with bachelor’s degree; and $15 per hour with master’s degree.

Satisfactory reference and criminal background checks are a condition of employment.
