Job Description

Seeking adjunct faculty to teach Administration of Justice courses in a variety of formats to include traditional, hybrid, and online classes. Candidates must be willing to teach classes anytime and at any locations that classes are offered by the college. Classes may be offered during the days, evenings, and weekends. The college offers classes in Franklin, Suffolk, and Smithfield.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field work experience and/or equivalent training in field. Two years related occupational experience. Experience in the teaching field.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree or graduate work in a relevant field. Five years’ work experience in the field. Experience teaching on the community college level. All degrees and credit must have been earned from an accredited college or university. Evidence of expertise in distance learning teaching preferred. Experience with Blackboard.
