Job Description

PRN (as needed) Proctor will be working with the testing coordinator to schedule and create registrations, prepare materials, oversee the administration of various tests and assessments, coordinate the grading and recording of completions, and notify students and other appropriate parties of results. Will perform general administrative duties related to testing and workforce. Gather all testing materials; maintain confidentiality; follow guidelines for testing and retakes; maintain client user id’s and passwords (profiles); set-up computers for testing; work with faculty to proctor program assessments/tests; maintain knowledge of ACT assessments and changes; maintain assessment materials and keep track of inventory to order when low; unlock and lock Workforce Center as needed for after-hours testing, and assist with other administrative duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess: High school/GED is required. Knowledge of computers to include MS Word and Outlook and the internet; ability to travel to Suffolk campus or off-site location as needed; flexibility to proctor on days, night and possibly weekends; great customer service and organization skills; excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience proctoring tests, exams and/or assessments. Familiarity with WorkKeys assessments.
