Job Description

The Frontier Culture Museum seeks costumed historic site interpreter to communicate specialized information to visitors and schoolchildren, perform daily farm and interpretive tasks such as animal care, garden work, chores, cooking, handcrafts etc…Includes weekday and weekend shifts occasional evening shift.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in Museum education K-12 education or similar direct work with the public, able to work out of doors in all weather, walk up to two miles daily and perform vigorous farm work as needed. Dependability, strong speaking and interpersonal skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree, ability to perform period vocal music or play historic instrument a plus.
