Job Description

This position is for second shift: CCCA, a progressive public mental health facility for children and adolescents, is seeking a full-time classified Direct Human Services Associate III to lead and supervise the Center’s highly qualified direct care staff. Responsibilities include: Mentoring and providing leadership to direct care services staff on second shift. Provide proactive therapeutic counseling interventions with children and adolescents. Participate in and lead implementation of individual clinical treatment plans and active treatment groups. Provide assessments of children’s strengths and abilities. Monitor and participate in scheduled treatment and recreation activities with adolescents.

Minimum Qualifications

This position will involve leadership responsibilities and direct involvement with children. It will include night and weekend assignments. Experience with children in a mental health facility required. Demonstrated experience/abilty to perform as lead staff and/or supervisor is essential. Prior experience in mental health or similar healthcare experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Supervisory experience in child and/or adolescent mental health is preferred.
Individuals with college degrees in a human service field (Psychology, special education, etc.) preferred.
Bi-lingual preferred.
