Job Description

The Information Technology Office is seeking to attract a highly motivated and experienced IT professional committed on providing extraordinary customer service to enhance the VCCS enterprise-wide systems focusing on applications. The VCCS operates enterprise-wide Oracle/PeopleSoft applications which include Financial Management 9.1/PeopleTools 8.52 and Human Capital Management and Campus Solutions 9.0/ PeopleTools 8.53 in a split production environment. The Oracle/PeopleSoft applications run on Oracle 12g databases.Monitors professional development programming, budgets, and evaluation in various skill areas.

The Enterprise Software / Identity Management Developer provides applications, best practices, technical expertise, consulting services and support to the 23 community colleges, System Office, and Shared Services Center in their use of identity and user access management and access management services that are integrated with VCCS enterprise and local college applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing the day-to-day implementation and transition support to new identity and access management application(s);
• Documenting and validating current-state and future-state identity and access management process flows including fit/gap analysis;
• Providing high level technical expertise to colleges and System Office to identify and recommend best practices and business process improvements related to identity and access management;
• Drafting communications and providing liaison between stakeholders, technical, and vendor staff to ensure that the identity and access management solutions are effectively meeting business and technical needs; and
• Providing on-going day-to-day system administration, operational support and problem resolution in coordination with vendor and technical staff as well as assignment(s) to projects of short and medium duration.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
• A Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant education and experience that provide the required level of knowledge, skills and ability to successfully perform the functions of the job requirements;
• Extensive identity and access management experience in a large, complex environment;
• Demonstrated experience applying analytical skills involving large scale applications with distributed presentation, application, and database servers and clients;
• Record of superb customer service, excellent written and verbal communications skills and experience with the demands of a challenging application environment;
• Proven ability to define and develop solutions based on business requirements; and
• Experience developing and supporting interfaces to external applications.
