Job Description

The Virginia Department of General Services, Division of Purchases & Supply is seeking a qualified candidate to help support the business management of the Commonwealth’s electronic procurement system, eVA. This position supervises the eVA Billing Customer Care Call Center and is responsible for the accurate and timely accounting, invoicing and collection of eVA fees.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field, or equivalent training & experience; advanced skills w/MS Office software; strong data analysis skills; excellent oral & written communications skills; ability to function independently & handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong problem solving skills; ability to develop, interpret & apply policies; strong interpersonal skills & the ability to motivate, mentor and train others. Advanced knowledge and experience in procurement, standard business practices, and/or contract law are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include experience in a billing-related customer service environment; supervisory experience as a middle level manager and/or collection of delinquent accounts; and certification as VCO, VCA, CPPB, CPPO, or C.P.M.
